Deep Tissue Massage
Rebalance Massage Mansfield
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, using advanced, massage techniques which are slower and more focused. Its great for those who want a relaxing massage but prefer firm pressure.
Deep Tissue Massage is used to release long term or chronic muscle pain and restrictions using slower strokes and more direct focused pressure. Breaking up any restrictions in the muscle. Promoting circulation while releasing pain patterns and tension in the body.
Each treatment is tailored to the clients needs using a combination of advanced techniques such as Trigger point therapy, Myofascial Release, Douglas Heels Muscle Activation and Cranial work.
Trigger points can cause pain either in their immediate area or referred pain in other parts of the body which can be tracked in recognisable pain patterns. For example, trigger points in the neck and shoulder can be the source of pain in the forearm and wrist. Trigger point therapy involves gently working directly on specific problem trigger points to release the muscle and other affected tissues and to interrupt the pain pattern.
We have found trigger point therapy to be particularly effective when used together withmyofascial release to work on the surrounding fascia and soft connective tissues.
